Without question, Orlando, Florida is one of the most exciting entertainment destinations in the world. From theme parks, to water parks, to world class shows, there is nearly something for everyone. Well, this Saturday, Orlando opens another exciting entertainment venue, The Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. In the exciting virtual tour below, you will get to see all of the wonderful features of this breath-taking facility.
After last week's ribbon cutting and open house, The Dr. Phillips Center hosted a free outdoor concert from Sheryl Crow, but this week, they officially christen the gorgeous 2,700 seat Walt Disney Theatre with BROADWAY & BEYOND.
This unique, one-night-only event is directed by theatrical legend Richard Jay-Alexander (Executive Producer of LES MISERABLES and MISS SAIGON), and will star Central Florida native Norm Lewis (Broadway's current PHANTOM OF THE OPERA), Sierra Boggess (LITTLE MERMAID, LES MISERABLES, PHANTOM OF THE OPERA), Michael Urie (UGLY BETTY, BUYER & CELLAR), Chris Mann (NBC's THE VOICE and Lewis' PHANTOM replacement); soprano Deborah Voight, and more.
To get your tickets to BROADWAY & BEYOND call the Dr. Phillips Center Box office at 844.513.2014 or by visiting the Box office at 455 Magnolia Avenue, Orlando, FL 32801 between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. or online at drphillipscenter.org.
