HAIR cast member Michael James Scott's fashion segments are back on BroadwayWorld.com and bigger and better than ever. Producer, Joseph Lucius, has teamed up with Michael and photographer Paris Remillard, also of HAIR, to bring you the all new "Footlight Fashionista with Michael James Scott."

In this new episode Michael spotlights Fashion's Night Out, where shoppers rubbed elbows with celebrities and fashion icons! In the United States, American Vogue joined with NYC & Company, the City of New York, and the Council of Fashion Designers of America to enliven again the consumer spirit that churns the economy and boosts the local industry of America's fashion capital, New York City. Next only to finance, fashion is the second-largest sector of industry in New York City-the headquarters of more than 800 fashion companies employing 175,000 people and generating $10 billion in total wages.

Michael James Scott a native of Orlando, Florida has been doing the performing thing since he was a little boy. On Broadway he has been seen in Mamma Mia, All Shook Up, The Pirate Queen, Disney's Tarzan and currently the revival of HAIR. Off Broadway he was featured in Here's to Joe Opposite Donna McKechnie and was part of the concert cast of Jerry Springer, the Opera at Carnegie Hall. He had the esteemed pleasure of being the standby for Ben Vereen in the International tour of Fosse and eventually took over the role for Mr. Vereen. He was part of the opening cast of Jersey Boys in Las Vegas and for the past 2 years he has sung with the critically acclaimed group 'The Broadway Boys' having done concerts and benefits all over the east coast including the famous Birdland Jazz club. His dance background extends back to the Southern Ballet Company and the Broadway Theatre Project in Tampa, Florida where he studied with the legendary Gwen Verdon, Ben Vereen, Gregory Hinds and Ann Reinking who he also assisted. He has taught numerous Master Classes in Dance around the country and is a BFA graduate of the Conservatory of Theatre Arts at Webster University.
