The best of Broadway will be presented FREE on six consecutive Thursdays this summer with "106.7 Lite FM's Broadway in Bryant Park 2012" – a lunchtime series beginning today, July 12 at 12:30 p.m. on the Bryant Park Stage. Sponsored by Resorts World Casino New York City and hosted by Lite FM's on-air personalities, the twelfth annual presentation of open-air, On- and Off- Broadway lunch hour performances will run through August 16.
The event kicked off this week with performances from the casts of War Horse, Stomp (Alan Asuncion, Dustin Elsea, Eric Fay, Fritz Hector, Jason Mills, John Angeles, Lisa Latouche, Ryan Johnson), The Phantom of the Opera (Trista Moldovan; Kyle Barisich; Paul D. Schaefer), SPIDER-MAN: Turn Off the Dark (Matthew James Thomas, Katrina Lenk, Kristen Faith Oei, Jodi McFadden, Laura Beth Wells, Daniel Curry, Christopher King, Emmanuel Brown), and The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess (Trevon Davis, Nikki Renee Daniels, Nathaniel Stampley).
