STARS IN THE ALLEY, presented by United Airlines, was held earlier today, May 27th in Shubert Alley, between Broadway and 8th Avenue and 44th and 45th Streets. Hosted by HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH's Darren Criss, Broadway's best turned out for the annual performance - including The Visit's Jason Danieley, who performed "I Was the Only One"- check it out below!
Based on the satirical play by Friedrich Durrenmatt as adapted by Maurice Valency, The Visit features music and lyrics by the Tony Award-winning team John Kander & Fred Ebb, book by four- time Tony Award-winning playwrightTerrence McNally. It will open on Broadway this spring, starring two-time Tony Award-winning Broadway legend Chita Rivera and Tony Award-winner Roger Rees.
