Tony Award winner Jason Alexander, who joins the cast of Larry David's FISH IN THE DARK on Tuesday, June 9, surprised the author and star of the hit comedy with a cameo appearance during the Thursday, June 4 performance at the Cort Theatre.
Alexander, who starred as George Costanza, a character who Larry David created based on himself as the co-creator of the landmark TV comedy, "Seinfeld," surprised David during a scene, which also features Rosie Perez, where he plays a doctor during a hospital visit.
David will perform his final performance in FISH IN THE DARK this Sunday, June 7. The comedy, which also stars Glenne Headley (replacing Rita Wilson who is also playing her final performance this Sunday), Rosie Perez, Jayne Houdyshell, Ben Shenkman and Lewis J. Stadlen, heading a cast of 18, runs through Saturday, July 18.
