On Wednesday night, Kristin Chenoweth opened her limited run show, MY LOVE LETTER TO BROADWAY, to a packed house at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. She graced the audience with two very generous acts of some of the greatest songs from The Great White Way and some standards from her new album, THE ART OF ELEGANCE.
The diminutive star knocked it out of the ballpark, receiving 5 standing ovations during the night. In the audience, among such luminaries as Rosie O'Donnell, designer Christian Siriano, Michael Feinstein, actress Jenna Ushkowitz, Producer James L. Nederlander and writer Robert Harling, were her parents Jerry and Junie Chenoweth, from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Our question is, "How ya gonna keep 'em down on The Farm, after they've seen Paris?"
MY LOVE LETTER TO BROADWAY is directed by Richard Jay-Alexander, with music direction by Mary-Mitchell Campbell, costume design by Christian Siriano and Presented by James L. Nederlander. The limited engagement begins November 2, 2016 at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre and will run through November 13, 2016.
