Necessary Roughness airs Wednesday January 30 at 10/9c on USA Network.
Chase currently stars in the revival of The Mystery of Edwin Drood and most recently starred on television as Michael Swift on the NBC hit show "Smash." Chase, originally from Frankfort, Kentucky, started singing at a young age and went on to study percussion and conducting at the prestigious Oberlin Conservatory of Music. Following school and regional theatre in Chicago, Will made his Broadway debut as Roger in the critically acclaimed show Rent. He went on to star in many Broadway productions including Billy Elliot, Miss Saigon, The Full Monty, High Fidelity, The Story of My Life, Aida and Lennon. Memorable television appearances include Pat Mahoney on "Rescue Me," "Royal Pains," "Pan Am," "White Collar," "Blue Bloods," and "Law & Order Criminal Intent."
Necessary Roughness features Golden Globe(R) nominee Callie Thorne as she reprises her acclaimed role as Dr. Dani Santino, a Long Island psychotherapist and single mother who's plucked out of relative obscurity to become the sports-psychologist for the New York Hawks. Season two returned on January 23, 2013 at 10/9c with five powerful episodes leading to a dramatic finale. After running the risk of losing her entire practice, Dani attempts to pick up the pieces of her complicated life. Meanwhile, Hawks star player and ultimate bad boy TK (Mehcad Brooks) struggles with his sobriety but will stop at nothing to maintain his number-one position as wide receiver. And with the franchise's ownership in the balance, the team is challenged when a secret threatens to bring down the Hawks' entire season.
