The company of Broadway's The Visit gathered in the studio on April 27th to record the musical's original cast album. The Visit is the final musical ever written by legendary Oscar Award, Grammy Award and Tony Award-winning composer John Kander and his writing partner lyricist Fred Ebb, before Mr. Ebb passed away. Produced by the Emmy Award-winning and Grammy nominated producer Michael Croiter (Matilda, Big Fish, Heathers), The Visit album will hit shelves worldwide on July 10, 2015. Below, BroadwayWorld is excited to bring you an exclusive preview of the company in the recording studio!

The Visit cast album is a joint release of two labels: Broadway Records and Yellow Sound Label and is co-executive produced by Hunter Arnold, Carl Daikeler and Sandi Moran. On Thursday, July 9 (7PM), the company will reunite at Barnes and Noble (150 East 86th Street) for a CD signing and performance. CLICK HERE to pre-order today!

The cast is led by Tony Award winners Chita Rivera as Claire Zachanassian and Roger Rees as Anton Schell. The Broadway cast also features Jason Danieley as Frederich Kuhn, David Garrison as Peter Dummermut, Mary Beth Peil as Matilde Schell, George Abud as Karl Schell, Matthew Demingas Louis Perch, Diana Dimarzio as Annie Dummermut, Tony Award-nominee Rick Holmes as Father Josef, Tom Nelisas Rudi, Chris Newcomer as Jacob Chicken, Aaron Ramey as Otto Hahnke, John Riddle as Young Anton, Elena Shaddow as Ottilie Schell, Timothy Shew as Hans Nusselin and Michelle Veintimilla as Young Claire.

In her juiciest role yet, Rivera is Claire Zachanassian, the world's wealthiest woman, who returns home to Anton Schell (Roger Rees) who captured her heart then shattered her dreams. What she does next shocks the town and makes for the most thrilling and intriguing musical in years.
