In 2004, the cast of the Off-Broadway hit BARE appeared at Joe's Pub in three sold-out concert benefits for BroadwayWorld.com with proceeds going to Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS.

'Slut Chorus Boy,' written by BARE composer Damon Intrabartolo, and performed by Scott Allgauer (who co-wrote the song), was one of the hits of all 3 BroadwayWorld.com concerts with the cast of BARE and we pulled the footage today to take a look back at a song that showed the heart, wit and humor of its composer.

Appearing in the concert were Michael Arden, John Hill, Jenna Leigh Green, Natalie Joy Johnson, Aaron Lohr, Adam Flemming, Kaitlin Hopkins, Jim Price, Scott Allgauer, Kearan Giovanni, Lindsay Scott and more. The concert was co-directed by Kristin Hanggi and Damon Intrabartolo with Musical direction by Jesse Vargas and BroadwayWorld.com's Front and Center series Artistic Director was Jamie McGonnigal.

BroadwayWorld confirmed yesterday that Damon Intrabartolo, who wrote the music for BARE, passed away on August 13 in Arizona where he has been living the last few years. He was 39 years old.

He composed the musical Bare, a Pop Opera; his company God Help! Productions also produced the world premiere in Los Angeles. He composed and produced the musical Ann E. Wrecksick and the Odyssey of the Bulimic Orphans. Both shows played in Los Angeles and New York City. He composed the musical Plop which workshopped in Los Angeles.
