Welcome to BroadwayWorld's exclusive talk show, BACKSTAGE WITH Richard Ridge. Follow Richard as he visits the theater's best and brightest in their dressing rooms, on their stages and favorite hang outs to talk about their lives, careers and all of the things you don't know, but want to know.

In this latest special, Richard sits down with Anything Goes' star and longtime Broadway darling Stephanie J. Block, who gets candid about transforming into the legendary Liza Minnelli alongside Hugh Jackman in The Boy From Oz, going green as 'Elphie' in Wicked, everything Reno, married life and more.  In addition, BroadwayWorld is thrilled to bring you the first and only footage of Block onstage at the Sondheim Theatre in Anything Goes!  Be sure to catch the bonus footage throughout the interview below!

On Broadway, Block has starred in The Boy From Oz, Wicked, The Pirate Queen, 9 To 5, and now, Anything Goes.  In addition, she originated the role of Elphaba in the first national tour of Wicked and in 2010 starred as Grizabella in the Municipal Opera Production production of Cats. Also that year, she starred as Sonia Walsk alongside Jason Alexander in the Reprise Theatre Company's production of They're Playing Our Song. This season, Block made her Off-Broadway debut in the play By the Way, Meet Vera Stark at 2nd Stage, earning a Drama Desk nomination.  Her solo album, This Place I Know, was released in 2009 by PS Classics.
