Children from the Garden of Dreams Foundation auditioned earlier this month in front of celebrities and Broadway stars for a coveted spot in the Foundation's Annual Talent Show on April 16 at Radio City Music Hall. Garden of Dreams is a non-profit charity that makes dreams come true for children facing obstacles - from homelessness and foster care, to illness, to extreme poverty. The Foundation hosts an annual Talent Show event where children from various partner organizations are presented with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to perform in front of their family and friends at Radio City Music Hall.
In attendance at the auditions were hip hop pioneer and Talent Show Creative Director Darryl 'DMC' McDaniels, The Strokes' Albert Hammond, Jr., Fabrizio Moretti and Nikolai Fraiture, Broadway stars Tony Vincent (American Idiot, NBC's "The Voice"), Christina Sajous (Spiderman, American Idiot), Rebecca Faulkenberry (Spiderman, Rock of Ages) and Chester Gregory (Sister Act, Tarzan, Hairspray), Model Damaris Lewis, Matte Babel, Fuse News anchor, Esteban Serrano, host of Top 20 Countdown on Fuse and children from the Garden of Dreams Foundation.
