Despite the humidity, Broadway's brightest stars came out on Sunday afternoon, September 14th to Times Square to celebrate the annual Broadway on Broadway celebration. Spamalot's Drew Lachey hosted the annual free outdoor concert which brings together stars and performances from current and upcoming Broadway productions to celebrate the beginning of the new Broadway season. For the event, Times Square was "shut down" to make room for the 50,000+ attendees. BWW TV was there to share all the excitement of the music filled event.

Broadway on Broadway kicks off the 2008 - 2009 Broadway season and is produced by The Broadway League and The Times Square Alliance.
