TV: Alan Mingo Jr. Struts from KINKY BOOTS to Stars in the Alley!

STARS IN THE ALLEY, presented by United Airlines, took place just last week in Shubert Alley. Hosted by Tony nominee Sean Hayes and Mo Rocca, Broadway's best once again turned out for the annual performance - including Alan Mingo Jr., who performed "Hold Me In Your Heart" from KINKY BOOTS.

Mingo's Broadway credits include Sebastian in Disney's The Little Mermaid (Original Broadway cast member) and Tom Collins in Rent. Other U.S. First National Tours: Donkey in Dreamworks' Shrek the Musical, Seaweed in Hairspray and Simba in Disney's The Lion King.

Kinky Boots tells the uplifting and heartwarming tale of Charlie Price, a young man reluctantly taking over his family's struggling business. Charlie meets and finds inspiration in Lola and together, the unlikely pair finds that they have more in common than they ever dreamed possible... and discovers that when you change your mind about someone, you can change your whole world.
