With Halloween just days away, it's time once again for BWW's Top 10 Broadway-themed costumes to help make your holiday festivities extra special. From an Arabian Prince to an East German transgender rock star, we cover the entire wardrobe spectrum for your trick or treating needs!

#1. THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA - Based on feedback from last year's holiday feature, theater fans reacted strongly to the omission of this Broadway mainstay from our list. And so we make amends by giving the prestigious No. 1 spot to this obssesed, mysterious, disfigured musical genius of the Paris Opera House. Enjoy the night - that's all we ask of you!

#2. The Witch from INTO THE WOODS - No Halloween list would be complete without its witch, and this year we have a particularly ominous enchantress to offer you, courtesy of the uber-talented Meryl Streep. And while we're on the subject, this Sondheim classic boasts an array of fantasmic characters on which to base a proper Halloween costume, including The Wolf, Cinderella, Cinderella's Prince, Rapunzel and Little Red Riding Hood. Take your pick but just be careful what you wish for this Halloween!

#3. HEDWIG - Out of the brilliant mind of John Cameron Mitchell comes this East German transgender rock and roller, who channels the glam rock era of David Bowie and the early punk years of Iggy Pop. Just snatch your Wig in a Box, take your Sugar Daddy by the hand and head out to a night on the Wicked Little Town!

#4. Any member of the Dysquith family - Grab your GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE TO LOVE AND MURDER and take your pick of any member of this distinguished family of Lords and Ladies. Just beware! There seems to be a rash of murders of the Dysquiths in recent days!

#5. CABARET'S Emcee & Sally Bowles - What good is sitting alone in your room? Put on your boa, top hat and tails and take a step back in time to the Kit Kat Klub of 1930's Berlin.

#6. LES MISERABLE'S Inspector Javert - Put aside your quest for Prisoner 24601 for the evening and have a fun night out on the town as this obssessed Parisian police inspector. At the end of the day, that's what Haloween's all about.

#7. SIDE SHOW's Violet and Daisy Hilton - Grab a friend and channel these famed conjoined twins from the freakish circus side show of the 1930's. Just make sure you really like your partner, because you'll literally be stuck with them for the rest of the evening!

#8. ALADDIN - Make way for Prince Ali! You'll discover a whole new world as you become the handsome Prince of Agrabah. All it takes is the finest of silks, sparkling jewels, a beaded turban, and oh yeah, a magic Genie to help with your transformation.

#9. Sailors from ON THE TOWN - Hoping to get a little bit lucky on Halloween in the Big Apple or elsewhere? We suggest putting on your dress whites and going out on the town. And if you get lost, just remember, The Bronx is up, the Battery's down.

#10. FROZEN'S Anna and Elsa - We know, we know, this Academy Award-winning animated mega-hit from Walt Disney Studios has yet to arrive on the Great White Way, but we just couldn't let it go!

Have we left out one of your favorites? Let us know who you would include on the list.

BroadwayWorld wishes all of our loyal readers and fellow theater fans a Happy Halloween!
