BWW Recap: PETER PAN LIVE! Flies onto TV Tonight! UPDATING LIVE!

Last year, Craig Zadan and Neil Meron brought The Sound of Music starring country star (and former AMERIAN IDOL winner) Carrie Underwood in the leading role of Maria live to millions of people across the country. With this live performance featuring Broadway vets like Christian Borle and Laura Benanti in supporting roles, America was exposed to a small taste of what happens eight times a week on Broadway. To some, THE SOUND OF MUSIC LIVE! was their first big exposure to the magic and wonder of Broadway, perhaps leading young viewers to bigger and grander things.

This year, the dynamic duo of Meron and Zadan are asking you to clap if you believe in fairies and venture to the wonders of Neverland with Peter Pan Live! In the leading role of the boy who won't grow up is Allison Williams of HBO's GIRLS with Academy Award winner Christopher Walken as the mischievous Captain Hook. Along for the trip to Neverland includes Taylor Louderman (star of BRING IT ON: THE MUSICAL) as Wendy, five time Tony nominee Kelli O'Hara as Mrs. Darling, and returning for another Live go around is Christian Borle as Mr. Darling/Smee. The ensemble of Pirates and Lost Boys features some bright talents from the ensembles of NEWSIES, MATILDA, HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING, LES MISERABLES, and more.

It's time to take flight to the magical land of Never and experience all the wonder, the music, and joy that is Peter Pan Live - tonight, December 4th at 8pm (EST) /7 (CST) with a delay on the West Coast.
