In anticipation of the live 66th Annual Emmy Award broadcast on NBC this Monday, BWW takes a look at the Emmy nominated TV performances of some big Broadway talent. Today, we look at the work of Sarah Paulson, nominated for her work as Cordelia Goode Foxx in AMERICAN HORROR STORY: COVEN on F/X.

In addition to her nomination as Outstanding Lead Actress in a Miniseries or a Movie for this year, Paulson was nominated in the same category last year for season two of AMERICAN HORROR STORY: ASYLUM, and in 2012 as Nicolle Wallace in the HBO film GAME CHANGE.

Paulson most recently appeared on the New York stage Off-Broadway in the Roundabout Theatre Company's revival of TALLEY'S FOLLY, co-starring DANNY BURSTEIN, in the spring of 2013. Additional Off-Broadway credits include STILL LIFE (2009), CRIMES OF THE HEART (2008), COLDER THAN HERE in 2005, Tracey Letts' KILLER JOE (1998) and TALKING PICTURES (1994).

The Broadway stage has seen Paulson as Lisa Morrison in the Manhattan Theatre Club production of COLLECTED STORIES (2010) and the 2005 revival of Tennessee Williams' THE GLASS MENAGERIE in which she starred as "The Daughter," with her American Horror Story co-star Jessica Lange as her mother.

She has numerous television and film credits, starting in 1994 with an episode of LAW & ORDER. Films such as WHAT WOMEN WANT and DOWN WITH LOVE have followed as well as her turn as the conniving Mistress Epps in the Oscar-winning historical drama TWELVE YEARS A SLAVE.

Hosted by LATE NIGHT star Seth Meyers, the 66th Emmy Awards will air live on NBC on Monday, August 25, (8:00 PM ET / 5:00 PM PT) from the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles. Be sure to visit BWW TVWorld for live coverage of the 2014 Primetime EMMY AWARDS.
