In anticipation of the live 68th Annual Emmy Award broadcast on ABC on Sunday, September 18th, BWW will be spotlighting the Emmy nominated TV performances of some of Broadway's biggest stars.
Today we look at the career of talented Broadway alum Tituss Burgess, whose credits include GOOD VIBRATIONS, the role of recording star Hall Miller in JERSEY BOYS, and a memorable turn as Sebastian the crab in THE LITTLE MERMAID. He also starred as Nicely-Nicely Johnson in the 2009 revival of GUYS AND DOLLS. The actor is nominated for a 2016 Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor In A Comedy Series for his hilarious portrayal of Titus Andromedon on Netflix's UNBREAKABLE KIMMY SCHMIDT.
Burgess previously received an Emmy Award nomination for the role in 2015 and earned a nomination for Best Supporting Actor at the 2015 Critics' Choice Television Awards. Below, take a look at highlights from his stellar career.
