Comedy legends Steve Martin and Martin Short, musical legends Brian Wilson and The Beach Boys, Multi-platinum artists Barenaked Ladies, and Broadway classic Cinderella are just a few of the many shows heading to a stage near you in Huntington, WV as part of the 82nd Marshall Artist Series!
The lineup, just announced today, proves to be one of the Marshall Artist Series most ambitious -boasting iconic legends of film, music, and Broadway. With such a variety of choices this season, there's sure to be something for everybody.
Kicking off the season in spectacular fashion is the Barenaked Ladies, set to perform on October 11th, 2018. The Canadian superstars have sold well over 14 million copies and are currently promoting their 15th studio release.
Pop legend Brian Wilson, along with original Beach Boys members Al Jardine and Blondie Chaplin, will hit the stage on November 6th, 2018. Be prepared for a night of singing along as these musical legends performing many of their well known hits as they celebrate the 50th anniversary of the release of the iconic classic album, Pet Sounds.
On February 16th, 2019 watch Breakfast at Tiffany's as you've never seen it before - with the accompaniment of a full live orchestra! Experience the magic of the would be socialite as she attempts to marry a millionaire while a professional orchestra performs the soundtrack in Breakfast at Tiffanys in Concert!
Hollywood icons Steve Martin and Martin Short have been friends for over thirty years and lucky for us, they decided to celebrate their friendship by hitting the road! On March 9th, 2019 you can witness these two celebrated comedic actors as they give you a night musical of performances, stand up, and reminiscing about their long and distinguished careers.
Fans of Broadway will not be left out as Rock of Ages, the hard rock musical hit, will hit the stage as part of the show's tenth anniversary tour on April 9th, 2019. The children's classic Cinderella, a spectacle of epic proportions, will grace the stage on March 5th, 2019. Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber's groundbreaking musical hit Evita, will come through town on January 28th, 2019. Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons biographic musical, Jersey Boys, will dance it's way to the Joan C. Edwards Play House on November 27th, 2018.

HUNTINGTON, WV- Since 1936, The Marshall Artists Series has served as the cultural center for Marshall University and the surrounding communities, working to cultivate a greater understanding and appreciation of the performing arts through a wide variety of programs. "At 82 years old, the Marshall Artists Series is more than Arts and Education.
