BWW Exclusive STAGE ART- INTO THE WOODS!

Here is the latest entry in BroadwayWorld's new weekly feature - STAGE ART. This new offering will highlight the very best of Broadway theatre and beyond with new beautifully designed artwork.

Showcasing the digital paintings of our new resident artist, STAGE ART appears every Friday on BroadwayWorld as our love letter to the great talent, costume design and scenery that lights up the stages of the world. The series launched with LYSISTRATA JONES, THE WIZARD OF OZ, the Broadway revival of FOLLIES, THE GERSHWIN'S PORGY AND BESS, CARRIE, JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, ONCE, NEWSIES, EVITA, and more.

This week - it's all about INTO THE WOODS! The Public Theater's production of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's INTO THE WOODS, part of The Public's 50th Anniversary season at the Delacorte, opened on August 9th. Directed by Timothy Sheader with co-direction by Liam Steel, INTO THE WOODS stars Amy Adams, Donna Murphy, Jessie Mueller, Chip Zien, Jack Broderick, Gideon Glick, Cooper Grodin, Ellen Harvey, Ivan Hernandez, Tina Johnson, Josh Lamon, Bethany Moore, Denis O'Hare, Jennifer Rias, Laura Shoop, Tess Soltau, Sarah Stiles, Kristine Zbornik, and Glenn Close as the Voice of the Giant.
