As Transcendence Theatre Company prepares to open "Fantastical Family Night" of the Broadway Under the Stars concert series, I wanted to let you in on some of the fun that we've been having. Along with leading an incredibly special Broadway Kids Camp that was more inspiring than I could ever have imagined (see previous blog), I've loved every second of making magic with this uniquely amazing group of TTC artists.
The Fantastical Family Night is co-directed by the dynamic duo of Eric Jackson and Scott Barnhardt. Their vision for the show is filled with tremendous heart and depth that is powerfully moving for all ages. One of my favorite musical numbers involves many of us playing instruments that we haven't played since middle or high school. I never dreamed that I'd be playing my flute again....let alone on a stage in front of hundreds of people! The entire show is completely heartwarming-- we're all extremely excited to share the stage with the kids and to watch them shine this weekend! I would share more details but I don't want to give away any thrilling surprises! To be continued....
