Intolerance in the Art World Today
By Barry Kostrinsky

Who would have thunk it? The all excepting art world ready to hang shit on a wall or in a can, Piss on paper, have someone wank off under the platform of an exhibit or watch a dog get killed in a gallery has become intolerant.

It is a strange sort of funny that shakes my bones when I see the liberal left, the intellectuals of the world and great thinkers show blatant disregard for the principals they preach. Are we, they, you, preaching principals? Maybe not. It may just be that like with everything else on this ball of monkey men who have forgotten to swing from tree to tree that we are only looking after our self interests. Yes, we may be just out to protect our pockets and ourselves. Darwin would be proud of you, I am not.

At Vassar College, a European economic history course in a locked down intellectual campus amidst the absence of Poughkeepsie's stench within hallowed walls showed me that money governed history and not the idea of thoughts. Art history was a favorite class but it could have been more properly called "Romantic Phantasy" and not history. True, art tells the story of a deep history of men and woman at their best, pillars of society leading the way of the growth of society and the evolution of man. What a crock of shit. There seems to be no evolution of intellectual thought from the actions of man. Though he does paint a pretty picture of him and herself even though the portrait of man lay buried in the attic is more of a grotesque.

Today's Man has lost his head and gone belly up, chapter 11 and is a monkey no different from the rest and is motivated by gluttonous greed. Did you enjoy your thanksgiving? Is it a holiday for consumption or a holiday for giving thanks we got to kill a beautiful race of people. On Facebook, the netherworld of life in a speechless society, artists everywhere (isn't NY and Ca everywhere?) are reacting with intolerance.
Now which communities motto is based on tolerance? No one wants to tolerate death, destruction, pain and those things beyond cognition. Why are we so intolerant as a people? The problem lies in the fact that if we were made of chocolate and we met someone we didn't like, we would probably eat them.

And so we have it, a world of lying thinkers, supposedly better than the rest, in touch with the Zen of power, hungry to eat you when you say the 'wrong' thing they know is wrong because of dialogues they had with play-do.

Even Noam, is guilty of looking for a superior separation of man from the rest of beast that eat this planet. The only difference I see is our ability to use with extraordinary skill our ability to destroy. Leonardo's are rare, Donald's are everywhere.
Many people quote Noam Chomsky on Crackbook. Noam's book 'On Language' was influential in my understanding of the role words play as multipliers, limiters and reinforcers of ethics. Our language reflects a military state. Who is at fault? You are, all of you. Everyone is racist, everyone is a liar, everyone is malicious- Jean-Jacques Rousseau got it half right, we are savage beasts that might be noble one day. When is that day coming?

Henri Rousseau 1908 "Beauty and the Beast"
We don't try. We are happy to be the intellectual left because we know, we know the right thing. But next to the right turn in the road is a sharp fork no one sees but always takes them the wrong way. We have all made a wrong turn and people are starting to notice.
It is not just the wrong turns to come by a Don not fit to be a Cappo.

Trump, a lessor Gotti God than Zeus and Benito Mussolini: cast from the same mold?
It is the turn when we fling out our supposed morals, kindness, humanity, consideration and other non-natural monkey traits. These traits are fragile and are learned and not embedded in us like the desire for a $1.09 cheeseburger with 3000 calories and a chance to sit on a hot clowns lap at Christmas. The finer substances are soft, permeable and out to do good. When you spit from evil they leave their host.

Iona Miller's SOUL SUPPORT ~ 21st Century Alchemy (Ionatopia)
We have lost our host of humanity. Many are seeing this and their first reaction is to close the book, face and all, to stop reading and put their head in the sand. Is this a wise move to remove the influence of negative hatred, spewed ill, bad breathe and stinky left over Blue Clinton cheese? Granted Blue Clinton was professed as a healing cheese and yes it is in the mold, so I eat my fair share of the blues. Or are us ostriched head diving folks once ostracized now, making the first correct turn, a turn to awaken to the absurdity of the reaction of the smart lost souls of this world and there actions upon their lessor deemed dumb dumb cousins in Alabama?

Beware of silver backs showing their teeth
Some great music came from those hills. Funny, some great art comes from artists along with some pretty shotty political views. I go to artists for art, to the deli for a sandwich, to the airport for a plane and to writers about art for writings on art. Why do we go to the art world for political views? Because they are artists, they usurp all fields and are at the pinnacle of the culture and know they can't call themselves an artists without acknowledging the weight this term comes with. Yet, are they artists, are they thinkers, are they just great painters? Or are we all fools, all of us, liars in a sea of quick sand not sinking to Hades but bringing the devil up through the mud into our hearts?

The Garden of Earthly Delights, 1510-1515 - Hieronymus Bosch.
Bosch had great incite and his work is still current, his surrealism is 400 years early. He is in favor today, any guesses as to why?

Remember America, the president is one person and we are many. Which president besides a rough riding Teddy did the most for the environment? Nixon. Why? Not because Tricky Dick gave two can's of Manzoni, but because the people demanded it. Your voices are heard but you must listen to what you say otherwise you may win a battle and lose a larger war you have been fighting for years. Indeed I have succumbed to the warish rhetoric of our time, it flows so easily, so naturally, but it is not our natural state. If it is, it is up to us to evolve, to inspire to aspire and yes, when we play basketball to perspire. I've had my ire sung, my bell rung, my clock ticked and we have all had our ego's pricked over a dismaying world. I expect more from my fellow family clan or we will all be expelled from the game together one day soon.
Now is the time to wake up, a new day is upon us if you are willing for the toughest challenge of your life. If you want to take the easy route and go on bashing people just remember bashing came after a gay word once. Tolerance, understanding, compassion and sharing, these are our aims. Shoot for the stars, their dust is in us, dying now, seeping out, when it's gone, so are we.
