On this week's JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE AFTER THE OSCARS special, Nathan Lane reprised his role as Max Bialystock, and Matthew Broderick recreated Leopold Bloom in 'Trumped the Musical', a hilarious parody of THE PRODUCERS.

In all-new production, the schemers come up with a new get-rich-quick plan, this time backing a presidential candidate who is sure to bomb in the race. Explains Max, "he has to be the worst candidate in history, a gold-plated nincompoop." Who's their man? None other than Donald Trump! Watch the hilarious video:

Of course the 2001 Broadway smash hit THE PRODUCERS was not be the only time this talented duo joined forces. In 2005, Lane took on the iconic role of sports columnist Oscar Madison while Broderick portrayed neatnik Felix Unger in the Neil Simon classic THE ODD COUPLE at the Brooks Atkinson Theater.

Fast forward nine years and the actors teamed up once again in Terrence McNally's IT'S ONLY A PLAY, featuring the all-star cast of Stockard Channing, Megan Mullally and F. Murray Abraham:

Following Sunday night's PRODUCER's revival, we couldn't help but ponder which show we'd love to see the twosome reunite in. Let us know your ideas in the comments section below!

THE PRODUCERS musical was adapted by Mel Brooks and Thomas Meehan from Brooks' 1968 film of the same name, with lyrics written by Brooks and music composed by Brooks. As in the film, the story follows two theatrical producers who scheme to get rich by overselling interests in a Broadway flop.

The original Broadway production opened at the St. James Theatre in April of 2001, starring Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick, and ran for 2,502 performances, winning a record-breaking 12 Tony Awards. It spawned a successful London production running for just over two years, national tours in the US and UK, many productions worldwide and a 2005 film version.
