BURLESQUE-A-PADES, Starring Pontani Sisters, Comes to SoHo Playhouse, Beg. 10/12

On Friday, October 12 at 10PM, the dazzling new entertainment production Burlesque-A-Pades will begin an open-ended run at the SoHo Playhouse. Starring Angie Pontani and The World Famous Pontani Sisters, Burlesque-A-Pades will treat audiences to a unique evening that reaches into burlesque's past to offer up belly laughs and bump 'n' grind in equal parts. Hosted by The King of Boylesque Tigger! and The Great Deceiver Albert Cadabra, Burlesque-A-Pades will play the SoHo Playhouse every Friday at 10pm beginning 10/12.

An evening of thrilling live performances fused with theatrical storytelling like no other show in New York, at Burlesque-A-Pades, experience a real authentic burlesque show as big time audiences knew it back in the day, in an intoxicating cocktail that alternates heart-stopping striptease with an eclectic mix of variety and comedy. From the Coney Island Boardwalk to the Wild West Circuit to the Las Vegas Strip to old-world Europe, Burlesque-A-Pades will transport audiences all over the globe on a trip through burlesque past, present and future.

Burlesque-A-Pades will feature direction from the American Vaudeville Theatre's Trav S.D., with a book devised by Angie Pontani and Trav S.D, and a cast that also features contemporary burlesque stars The Maine Attraction (with her Josephine Baker tribute), tassel-twirling champion Gal Friday and hula hoop hottie Pinkie Special. Burlesque-A-Pades is produced by Angie Pontani and Gary Beeber (who also produces the hit nightlife production Gotham Burlesque).

Burlesque-A-Pades will begin performances on Friday, October 12 at 10pm at the SoHo Playhouse (15 Vandam Street) and will play Friday nights at 10pm (open-ended run). Tickets are $59 (premium) and $44 (general admission) and can be purchased online at www.Burlesque-A-Pades.com.
