Barrington Stage Company has announced updates in its Musical Theatre Lab schedule.
The Lab's premiere musical,
The Burnt Part Boys, has been extended by popular demand through Saturday, July 15 at the Berkshire Athenaeum. Directed by
Joe Calarco,
The Burnt Part Boys features a book by Mariana Elder, music by Chris Miller, and lyrics by Nathan Tysen.
Please note the performance schedule for
The Burnt Part Boys
for the week of July 12 through the 15 will be Wednesday through
Saturday at 7:30 pm, with a 3:00 pm matinee on Saturday, July 15.

Travels With My Discontent: A New Musical Revue replaces
Meet Mister Future. Performance dates are July 26 through August 6

William Finn (
Spelling Bee, Falsettos, Elegies) directs. The cast of
Travels With My Discontent includes Charlie Brady (currently featured in
The Burnt Part Boys),
Katie Clarke (recently finished Lincoln Center's
The Light in the Piazza as Clara), Tony Nominee
Megan Lawrence (Gladys in
The Pajama Game), and
Chip Zien (
Into the Woods and
Falsettos).

The design team for
Travels… includes
Brian Prather (scenic design), Alejo Vietti (costumes), and D. Benjamin
Courtney (lighting design). The musical director is J. Oconer
Navarro.
Ticket prices are $25 and $30. Performances on July 26
and July 27 are $12. The performance schedule, Wednesday through Sunday
at 7:30 pm, with matinees at 3:00 pm, will take place at the Berkshire
Athenaeum, 1 Wendell Avenue at Pittsfield.

Disorder: A Mother-Daughter Vaudeville, where an excavation unearths a colorful past and chaos ensues," state press notes.
Disorder: A Mother/Daughter Vaudeville replaces
Dogs That Wear Hats, and will run August 17 through the 27. Directed by
Jack Cummings III (Artistic Director of the Transport Group)
, Disorder features a book by Katie Baldwin, with music Gihieh Lee, and lyrics by Julianne Davis and Katie Baldwin.
Ticket
prices are $25 and $30. Performances on August 17 and 18 are $12. The
performance schedule, Wednesday through Sunday at 7:30 pm, with
matinees at 3:00 pm, will take place at the Berkshire Athenaeum, 1
Wendell Avenue at Pittsfield.
