BROADWAY SINGS FOR PRIDE to Join Staten Island Yankees for Anti-Bullying Night, 6/22

Broadway Sings For Pride cast members Chondra Profit (Broadway's The Lion King), Rachel Lorin (Oxygen Network's The Next Big Thing, E! Canada), Elissa Goldstein (NBC/Universals An Affirmative Act) and Neal Bennington (Founder of Broadway Sings for Pride) will join the Staten Island Yankees for Anti-Bullying Night on June 22, 2013.

Anti-Bullying Night aims to raise awareness and educate children and families how to deal with bullying at school. Broadway Sings will sing during the pre-game and sing during the game as well.

The event takes place at Richmond County Bank Ballpark at St George
75 Richmond Terrace, Staten Island, NY.

Broadway Sings for Pride will also kick off NYC Gay Pride 2013 by celebrating with their third annual Gay Pride benefit concert. The special one-night benefit entitled " Unite" with join forces with American Idol and Billboard recording artistic Kimberley Locke, American Idol and Rent star Anwar Robinson and over 20 members of the Broadway community.

The concert will benefit the Hetrick-Martin Institute and Broadway Sings for Pride. There will also be special speakers including a message of hope from The Tyler Clementi Foundation. The night will be hosted by award winning host from the hit show "truTV Presents: the World's Dumbest" Scott Nevins with staging by Rachele Rommes (Minnesota Timberwolves choreographer).

Audiences will join in the celebration by hearing some of their favorite New York performers sing pop hits, mashups, Broadway classics as well as feature stories of LGBT pride. The event will be held at the Iguana NYC in New York City on Monday, June 24, 2012 at 8pm.
