BROADWAY SINGS FOR PKD Set for the Duplex Tonight

The second annual Broadway Sings for PKD, a concert benefitting the Polycystic Kidney Disease Foundation, will be offered tonight, February 2nd at The Duplex in NYC.

The 9:30 PM concert will feature new musical theatre songs by emerging writers, including Danny Abosch, Britt Bonney & Anna Marquardt, Sam Carner & Derek Gregor, Bobby Cronin & Brett Teresa, Carmel Dean, Bob Kelly, Rachel Kunstadt & James Ballard, Ryan Scott Oliver, and Joanna Parson. Performers will include a mix of Broadway actors and up-and-coming talent, including Sydney Angel, Caroline Ballard, Melanie Burg, Lisa Day, Ali Ewoldt (Les Miserables), Jonathan Hammond (Ragtime), Nehal Joshi (Les Miserables, Working), Nora Menken, Joanna Parson, David Perlman (Baby It's You), Brian Charles Rooney (The Threepenny Opera), and Tally Sessions (House of Blue Leaves, Big Fish). Ben Cameron (Wicked) will host.

Broadway Sings for PKD is produced by Rachel Kunstadt, directed by Ben Steinfeld (Cyrano de Bergerac, Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, Fiasco Theater's Cymbeline), music directed by Justin Hornback, and stage managed by Hannah Alter.

Proceeds from the evening will go to the Polycystic Kidney Disease Foundation, which "promotes programs of research, advocacy, education, support and awareness in order to discover treatments and a cure for Polycystic Kidney Disease and improve the lives of all it affects."
