BROADWAY SESSIONS Welcomes Cast of HAIR, 8/25

Ben Cameron (Wicked, Aida, Footloose) is the host and creator of BROADWAY SESSIONS at THE MIDTOWN THEATRE at the HA! Comedy Club (163 West 46th Street / Between 6th & 7th Avenues) every Thursday night at 11:00pm. Broadway Sessions is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week, and features musical director/composer Will Van Dyke (The Addams Family) on piano. In addition after the show we open the microphone up to anyone who wants to sing. Open mic from 12:00-2am.

This THURSDAY, August 25th, 2011 the weekly show (now in it's 3rd year) will celebrate the national tour of Hair, currently enjoying an extended summer run on Broadway.

Cast members slated to perform include John Moauro, Emily Afton, Laura Dreyfuss, Marshal Kennedy Carolan, Nkrumah Gatling, Arbender Robinson, Shaleah Adkinson, Tripp Fountain, Tanesha Ross, Jen Sese, Cailin Rose and Corey Bradley.

Also scheduled to appear are Broadway vet Celina Carvajal (Cats, Dracula) and vocalist Matthew Hashimoto (Oprah's karaoke idol contest)

Open mic party goes til 2 am featuring Joshua Stephen Kartes. Audience members will have the opportunity to win tickets to Hair.

Broadway Sessions takes place every Thursday evening at The Midtown Theater, 163 west 46th street inside the HA! Comedy Club. Doors open at 10:40 pm with showtime at 11pm and musical theater open mic party goes til 2 am. There is NO cover charge. Donations will be collected for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids.
