SOLO STRIPS is a return to the origins of BROADWAY BARES when, in 1992, Jerry Mitchell, then a performer in Will Rogers Follies, organized a benefit burlesque show featuring himself and six friends performing original strips at a bar for a $10 donation plus whatever tips the audience gave the dancers.
This year's BROADWAY BARES: SOLO STRIPS dancers include Cesar Abreu (The Metropolitan Opera, Broadway Bares 19-21), Guto Bittencourt (Les Misérables, Chicago in his native Brazil, Broadway Bares 21), Josh Buscher (Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Broadway Bares 19-21), Sam Cahn (Memphis, Broadway Bares 21), Adam Fleming (Wicked, Broadway Bares 16, 18, 20, 21), Nick Kenkel (Evita, Broadway Bares 11-18, 20, 21), Grasan Kingsberry (Leap of Faith, Broadway Bears 16, 21), Andy Mills (Memphis, Broadway Bares 21), Brandon Rubendall (Anything Goes, Broadway Bares 20-21) and Robb Sherman (The Skinny, Broadway Bares 17-21).
BROADWAY BARES: SOLO STRIPS is directed by Tony Spinosa (La Cage aux Folles). Doors open one hour prior to the show. Reserved table seats require an additional two-drink minimum.
