Steven Michael Quezada played DEA Agent Steve Gomez on AMC's Breaking Bad for all six years of the Emmy nominated TV Drama. How did he survive while other characters were getting killed off? With his sense of humor, Steven started out as a stand-up comedian prior to his successful run on the hugely popular television series.

Steven will be making two exclusive Connecticut stand-up comedy appearances tonight, May 8th, 9:30 at Marisa's in Trumbull and tomorrow, May 9th, 9:00 at the Cabaret Theater at Mohegan Sun.

"Steven brings the same rich characterization to his stand-up as he does to his acting roles. I've seen his act a few times now and find something new each time. But what stays the same is that he is just damn funny. He kills me. If laughter is good medicine then Walter White should see Steven's stand-up comedy... He'd get well fast!" -- Bryan Cranston 2010, 2009, 2008 Emmy Winning Actor Best Actor in a Drama Series

Steven's stand-up has been featured on HBO, Showtime, The Arsenio Hall Show and the Latino comedy feature Que Locos. He is a five-time recipient of the New Mexico Hispanic Entertainers Association Comedian of the Year Award and has been performing stand-up since the late eighties. Since Breaking Bad, Steven has been keeping busy. Between touring the country nationally performing stand-up, Steven has fifteen different television and film projects in the can or currently working. Including the movies Spare Parts with Marisa Tomei and George Lopez, Kreep with Judd Nelson, and the made for television movie Foreseeable just to mention a few.

Tickets for these two stand-up shows are $22 and $25 and can be purchased at TreehouseComedy.com or by calling the Treehouse Comedy Box Office at 203.268.5857.
