Veteran entertainment industry and non profit fundraising event professionals Scott Appel and Kathleen Cahill have teamed up to form BOOM Events, an event Production Company specializing in creating innovative and exciting special events for organizations supporting social justice issues.

With over twenty years experience in hospitality, non-profit fundraising, and public relations for celebrities, corporations and red carpet events. BOOM Events brings a unique team expertise that spans a wide range of services. The mission of BOOM Events is to create extraordinary event experiences by bringing innovative and creative ideas to benefit exceptionally significant causes.

Focused on partnering with agencies that work on human rights/humanitarian aid, child protection, animal/environmental advocacy, and peace building initiatives, BOOM Events is dedicated to shining the spotlight on these vital causes.
"BOOM Events conceptualizes and develops one-of-a kind special event experiences that tell the organization's story," said Cahill. "Working with our clients from inception through post-event, we transform ideas and visions, bringing the mission to life and creating memorable, lasting impressions. We are thrilled to be teaming up with organizations fighting on behalf of and for the LGBTQ community, minorities, immigrants, children's rights, animal rights, environmental protection, anti-war/anti-violence, and other issues that deserve the spotlight in these especially challenging times."

"BOOM Events works with Hollywood's philanthropists and elite, pairing them with your cause and bringing media attention and strength to the mission," added Appel. "Celebrities have the power to raise awareness to these significant causes that need support."

Clients over the years have included Time Inc, Reebok Entertainment, Sony Music, The Actors Fund, Starz Networks, Scholastic, Chicken Soup For The Soul, plus over 100 actors and recording artists including Matthew Morrison, Ashley Tisdale, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jamie-Lynn Sigler.
