BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center, the longest operating performance venue in lower Manhattan, proudly presents the next event in the 2016-2017 Family Series Season: Chicken Dance, on Saturday, November 19 at 1:30PM. Chicken Dance is part of BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center's 2016-2017 Family Theater Season, featuring plays, musicals, puppetry, concerts and dance for all ages.
Every barnyard has its bully! But two of the barnyard's chickens, Marge and Lola, will not stand idly by. Based on the book, "Chicken Dance," written by Tammi Sauer and illustrated by Dan Santat, ArtsPower's newest musical portrays the colorful story of two barnyard chickens on a mission to win the barnyard talent contest first prize of two tickets to see the great Elvis Poultry in concert! But first, they must present a performance that will score higher than a flock of very talented ducks who seem to have the contest locked up. Can Marge and Lola face their challengers, against all odds, and win the talent contest? Ages 4 - 7 years old.
