BIRDY Guest Stars in OH! YOU PRETTY THINGS at Le Poisson Rouge Tonight, 5/27

Michael T., Benjamin Ickies, Shien Lee, and Twig the Wonderkid are presenting OH! YOU PRETTY THINGS: THE NEW ROMANTICS tonight, May 27, at Le Poisson Rouge (158 Bleecker Street, Downtown, New York City) where the show/concert/event will begin at 9:00pm. Tickets are $25 for those aged 21+ with ID.

OH! YOU PRETTY THINGS returns with their second annual New Romantic Jubilee celebrating the children of glam, the Blitz Kids and New Romantics, featuring live performances by the legendary Michael T & the Vanities, incredible 22-piece chamber rock group This Ambitious Orchestra, Starbolt 9 and Hussle Club.

BIRDY, Downtown Diva renowned, is the special guest artist. She will be performing an especially arranged version of Siouxsie and The Banshees’ iconic anthem of hope, ISRAEL.

The Hosts are Laura Rebel Angel, Lady Valtronic, Miss Tiffany, Vulcanus, Kevin Dapper and Demanda Dahling. Chi Chi Valenti is the MC. The DJs are Twig (Glamdammit), Patrick (Salvation/Necromantic), Damian and Omri S. Quire.

Dress code is Blitz Kids Realness, Retro-Futurists, New Wave Melodrama and Peacock Punk.

BIRDY is an astute businesswoman who is taking over late night downtown Manhattan. An operatically trained singer, she left that world to record her own power pop ballads on a record label she is building to her own specifications where she will globally export herself, as well as other carefully considered artists, to a world she is convinced is patiently waiting for the next new tsunami of sound. A studied artist in her own right, she has begun designing make-up that is as prophetic as it is strikingly stunning. She is currently the lead singer in the new Indie rock band, Jazmo.
