Experience the excitement of an Opening Night on the Great White Way with The Roundabout Theatre Company's star-studded production of PAL JOEY; Set in Chicago in the late 1930s, PAL JOEY is the story of Joey Evans (with Broadway's newest star-to-be Matthew Risch) a brash, scheming song and dance man with dreams of owning his own nightclub.
Joey abandons his wholesome girlfriend Linda English (Mamma Mia's Jenny Fellner) to charm a rich, married older woman, Vera Simpson (Tony and Emmy Award winner Stockard Channing- who you may also recognize from her winning performance on TV's "The West Wing") in the hope that she'll set him up in business.
Meanwhile Gladys Bumps (multiple Tony Nominee Martha Plimpton) has other ideas. You'll be bewitched bothered and bewildered at Opening Night of PAL JOEY which is now scheduled for Thursday, December 18, 2008 at Studio 54.
