The producers of this Olivier Award winning comedy have donated a pair of prime seats along with two passes to the star studded, opening night party with the proceeds to benefit Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS.
GOD OF CARNAGE is the Olivier Award winning comedy by Yasmina Reza (Art), translated by Chistopher Hampton, directed by Matthew Warchus and starring Jeff Daniels, Hope Davis, James Gandolfini and Marcia Gay Harden. GOD OF CARNAGE is a comedy of manners without the manners. Two ostensibly civilized married couples meet up to sort out a playground fight. The son of one couple (Daniels and Davis) has broken two of the teeth of the son of another (Gandolfini and Harden). At first diplomatic niceties are observed, but as the meeting progresses and the rum flows, huge tensions emerge and the gloves come off, leaving more than just their liberal principles in tatters. Don't miss this play that the London Mail called "Blisteringly Funny".
The lucky winner of this auction will receive
A pair of VIP tickets to the opening night of GOD OF CARNAGE at The Bernard Jacobs Theater on Sunday March 22, 2009. and Two passes to the opening night party immediately following the performance.
