On December 27th at 6:30 PM, the U.K. station BBC 1 will air a profile of The Sound of Music star Connie Fisher.

Fisher, who was chosen to play the chipper Austrian governess after winning the reality talent search "How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria," stars in the revival of the Rodgers and Hammerstein classic at the London Palladium.  Andrew Lloyd Webber, who appeared as a judge on "Maria," produces the show, which is directed by Jeremy Sams.

"Connie Fisher's story starts backstage as she begins her journey from telesales girl to leading lady," according to BBC notes.
