Strongly committed to the philosophy of Torah u-Madda, the integration of traditional and secular wisdom, the Maccabeats perform an eclectic array of Jewish, American, and Israeli songs. Their breakthrough piece, Lecha Dodi, is the epitome of this synthesis, combining some of the most beloved words of Jewish liturgy with Leonard Cohen's meaningful and melodic Hallelujah.
In March 2010, the Maccabeats released their first album entitled Voices from the Heights, which is distributed by Sameach Music.
In November 2010, the Maccabeats released "Candlelight," a Chanukkah themed video produced by Uri Westrich, which garnered international attention and was covered by the major news sources. The song is available for download on iTunes or MP3, and the video can be viewed on YouTube.

Voodoo Chile is a tribute project dedicated to keep the music of late-great Jimi Hendrix alive. There's probably no guitarist around that can take Jimi's music to the next level as well as Eric Gales can. Especially alongside the amazing drummer Keith LeBlanc and legendary bass player TM Stevens.
Maybe you've heard of Eric Gales-that kid out of Memphis, a lefty, playing a Strat upside-down and backwards, the teenager who ever so briefly took Stevie Ray Vaughan's torch back when blues-rock charted Top 40 hits. That kid with the gift, a phenom with all the intangibles, the supreme essence of rock guitar who once drew "better than Jimi" comparisons, who Mike Varney (the authority on lead guitar playing) deems an elite amongst elites. Blues guitar phenom Eric Gales was born and raised in Memphis, learning to play at age four from older brothers Eugene and Manuel in imitation of their upside-down, left-handed style (a tradition actually passed down from their grandfather, Dempsey Garrett, Sr., who was known to jam with the likes of Muddy Waters and Howlin' Wolf). Winning his first blues contest at 11, four years later Eric signed to Elektra to issue his 1991 debut LP, recorded with Eugene on bass; Picture of a Thousand Faces followed in 1993. Manuel (who previously performed under the alias Little Jimmy King) reunited with his siblings for 1995's Left Hand Brand, credited to the Gales Brothers. A newly matured Gales returned in the new millennium to start his solo career. With 4 albums under his belt and now 6 solo efforts, we look forward to more of the devastating guitar tone that is
TM Stevens has recorded with many artists including: Stevie Salas, Steve Vai, Cindy Lauper, Little Steven, Tina Turner, James Brown, and Billy Joel. A former member of The Pretenders, Stevens recorded on the platinum album Get Close. He produced and arranged the album Tribute to Deep Purple According to New York on which included: Vinnie Moore, members of Living Color and Bernie Worrell of Parliament-Funkadelic. Stevens performed on Joe Cocker's album, Unchain My Heart. Together with Narada Michael Walden he penned the Billboard hit "I Should Have Loved Ya.
Keith Leblanc is an American drummer and record producer, and is a member of the bands Little Axe and Tackhead. His record, "No Sell Out", was the first sample based record. His career started out on Sugar Hill Records recording with rap pioneers, Grandmaster Flash and Melle Melle. He now has his own record label where he still releases music, sample records and experiments.

The Ventures are the biggest selling instrumental rock group of all time: they created albums rather than just collections of songs and were able to adapt their "surf guitar" sound to a wide range of styles. The solid body Fender guitar sound of the Ventures' Bob Bogle and Don Wilson worked with surf, country, spy, and psychedelic music.
In 1960 they recorded the instrumental classic "Walk, Don't Run", which hit #2 on the Billboard Singles Chart. More than 45 years later record sales are approaching 100 million. With 14 Singles Chart songs and a solid lineup The Ventures sound is more pure and powerful than ever.
Hit songs include:
"WALK, DON'T RUN"
"PERFIDIA"
"HAWAII FIVE-O"
"TELSTAR"
"SECRET AGENT MAN"
"A SUMMER PLACE"
"BLUE MOON"
"RAM-BUNK SHUSH"
In the past decade alone, he has performed nationwide with:
John Entwistle, bass guitarist of The Who
Jack Bruce, bass guitarist/vocalist of Cream
Dave Mason, guitarist/vocalist of Traffic
Alan Parsons, producer/engineer/recording artist

Johnny Cash was an American music icon known to the world as the "Man in Black." His booming deep bass voice is surely one of the most recognizable in country music history.
While his vocal range was unique and simple, it was incredibly effective at conveying the plight of The Common man. Cash's music career began at the same time as the birth of rock `n' roll and his rebellious attitude made him a kindred spirit.
He might not have sounded like a rocker, but he was never what Nashville would have considered to be country either. Johnny Cash was unique, with his deep, resonant baritone and spare, percussive guitar.
We hope you will join us on Johnny Cash's birthday as "Michael Patrick's Ring of Fire band" help us celebrate and relive the music of the legendary artist... the one & only Johnny Cash!
Michael Patrick and his legendary band of "Suburban Hillbillies" have made a commitment to the revival of country, folk and roots music in their homeland of New Jersey. Obviously not a hotbed or breeding ground for the Next Nashville Star, Michael and his band (including members: Dan Markovitch - Lead Gtr/Vocals, Lou Montella - Bass, and Drummer - Mike Bisozio) have made incredible strides and carved out a comfortable niche along with a handful of other local performers in fulfilling a desire for something different, gritty, raw and real in New Jersey.

Brooks first displayed her talent by singing gospel music in church. At age seven, she took part in her siblings' gospel group called the Little Gospel Tears, where they sang in Brooklyn. While attending P.S. 73, she was discovered in an after-school program by Dolores "Dee Dee" Kenniebrew and her mother, who invited her to join the Crystals as a replacement for a departing member. Brooks accepted this invitation.
After leaving the Crystals, she married jazz musician Leo Morris (also known as Idris Muhammad) in 1966; the union brought two sons and two daughters. Shortly thereafter, she converted to Islam with him, going under the name "Sakinah Muhammad." She then helped him write and record his material over the years. In 1968, she appeared in the original Broadway production of the musical Hair, where she performed the song "Aquarius." She would later appear in the Broadway show Two Gentlemen of Verona in 1971. She also toured with and recorded for various artists (such as the Neville Brothers, Bobby Womack and Isaac Hayes), made short appearances in films, and contributed songs to different movie soundtracks (including the 1970 film Cotton Comes to Harlem). In 1971, she reunited with Dolores "Dee Dee" Kenniebrew, Mary Thomas, and Barbara Alston as the Crystals and toured and performed in rock-&-roll revival shows. Their touring lasted until 1973 when the members decided to devote their time to their families.
In 1983, she and her family moved to London, England where she and Morris continued their careers in music. In 1990, they moved to Vienna, Austria where she continued singing and writing songs with Morris and also hosted a local radio show; they lived in Vienna until 1997. Andrew Edge sang backing vocals her on her BMG (Austria) CD LaLa Brooks & Friends in 1994.[1] In 1999, she and Morris separated but have remained on good terms since then. Brooks moved back to the United States at the turn of the century and currently resides in New York City.
Sun. February 27thCook's adventurous approach to music began at a young age, when trips to Europe to see his father exposed him to a variety of exotic sounds including the music of the legendary Gipsy Kings, with whom he shared a now famous jam session on a rooftop in the French city of Arles. After releasing his independent debut Tempest in 1995, Cook was signed to Narada Records and has since sold more than one million albums worldwide and won a Juno Award for 2000's Free Fall album. His tours, from concert halls to appearances at major events like the Montreal Jazz Festival, are typically sold-out affairs. And reviewers routinely praise what one critic called his uncompromising musicality and ferocious guitar prowess.
