After an unprecedented response to this year's call for applications, and an exhaustive peer panel process, the Brooklyn Art Exchange has announced the 2013-14 Artists In Residence and Space Grant recipients.

Founded in 1991, BAX/Brooklyn Arts Exchange is a is a multi-faceted community performing arts center located in Park Slope, Brooklyn offering an annual presenting season, artist services, and
educational programs for youth and adults. BAX receives support from city, state and national
national publications, celebrating our continued support of artists of all ages.

The Artists-in-Residence Program and the Space Grant Program are supported, in part, with public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts, celebrating 50 years of building strong, creative communities in New York State's 62 counties and the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council, as well as important private support from The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation and the Mertz-Gilmore Foundation.

Additional support for the AIR Program comes from the National Endowment for the Arts, Foundation for Contemporary Arts, and The Jerome Foundation.
