Banana Shpeel, the latest Cirque du Soleil production, has again shifted its performance dates and will now begin previews in New York on Thursday, April 29 (rather than the previously announced March 17) at the Beacon Theatre. The rehearsal period at the theatre has been extended to integrate new performance elements. A new opening night date as yet to be announced.

Banana Shpeel from Cirque du Soleil is a roller coaster mix of styles that blends intense choreography, crazy comedy and distinctive acrobatic acts. The show offers a diverse spectrum of performances including tap, hip-hop and eccentric dance, slapstick comedy and Cirque du Soleil acrobatic acts - plus madcap characters spreading chaos in all directions.

Those who purchased tickets through Ticketmaster for performances through April 28 will automatically be credited the ticket price and convenience charges. The credit should post to the credit card account within 7 to 10 business days. A special discount sent via e-mail will be offered to ticket holders of cancelled dates, which will be valid for performances starting April 29.
