Appropriate for ages 5 and up

Brooklyn, NY/October 6, 2009-Conceived as a kind of valentine to the circus arts and their fearless practitioners, Inside Out, a new work from Sweden's nouveau cirque troupe Cirkus Cirkör, celebrates a culture of emotional and physical risk-taking. Appropriate for ages five and up, it features eight circus performers plus five musicians from the band Irya's Playground. From its arresting first image of a woman embarking on an adventure with her heart pulsating outside of her body, the production, created and directed by Cirkus Cirkör founder Tilde Björfors, continually surprises with its spirited athleticism, witty and poignant narrative, and sophisticated aesthetic.
