Avenue Q Cast Performs on 'Breakfast with the Arts,' Dec. 18

The cast of Avenue Q will be featured on the December 18th edition of A&E's "Breakfast with the Arts." The show, which is hosted by Karina Huber, airs from 8 AM to 10 AM (check local listings).

Stephanie D'Abruzzo, Barrett Foa and other stars of the cheerfully R-rated, puppet-laden musical will perform
"A Visit from St. Nicholas."

The episode will also feature profiles of sin
ger Anita Baker, rock band The Barenaked Ladies, Grammy-winning jazz singer Diana Krall, guitarist Jose Feliciano and the East Village opera company. Movie star Jeff Daniels will also read excerpts from "The Greatest Gift," the short story that provided the basis for It's a Wonderful Life.

 Avenue Q, which opened on Broadway at the John Golden Theatre on July 31st 2003 and won Tony Awards for Best Book (by Jeff Whitty) and Best Score (by Robert Lopez and Jeff Marx), currently stars Foa, Christian Anderson and original stars D'Abruzzo, Ann Harada, Jordan Gelber, Natalie Venetia Belcon and Jennifer Barnhart. John Tartaglia, who originated the roles of Princeton and Rod on Broadway, recently headlined the current Las Vegas production.
