Autumn Hurlbert, Nick Gaswirth Lead ISLAND SONG at 92Y 10/16

kef theatrical productions, in association with Libra Theater Company and 92YTribeca, is thrilled to announce a developmental concert presentation of ISLAND SONG, a new song cycle with Music and Lyrics by Sam Carner and Derek Gregor. The concert will be presented on Sunday, October 16th at 92YTribeca (200 Hudson St, just south of Canal) at 7:00 PM. The cast of ISLAND SONG, will include Autumn Hurlbert (Legally Blonde), Nick Gaswirth (York Theatre's Minnie's Boys) and Andi Alhadeff with additional casting to be announced soon. Adam Fitzgerald (kef's Artistic Director) will direct with Music Direction by Derek Gregor.

Island Song is a piece about isolation and connection in contemporary urban life. What are boundaries when people you've never met are inches away? How do you know what you want in a place with so many options? How do you cut through all the noise to make and keep a connection with someone else? This mosaic of songs tells the stories of people making it through the day and night in the city and all their painful, beautiful, and funny experiences along the way.
