Aurora Theatre celebrates Mexican Independence Day with international superstar comedian Fernando Arau tonight, September 13, 2013 at 8:00pm.

Aurora Theatre's Teatro del Sol brings in the former longtime host ofDespierta América for a one-night-only performance of his stand-up comedy tour, Marriage, A History of Science and Friction. With his unique perspective on the matter, International Spanish-language star Fernando Arau's hilarious stand-up comedy gets to the bottom of the controversial subject of marriage. Fernando is an expert, having been married three times... to the same woman.Marriage, A History of Science and Friction, touches on topics from friendship, dating, marriage, honeymoons, sex, children and mothers... to saving the planet! Any resemblance of this show to real life is purely coincidental and the names have been changed to protect their marriages. It's everything you didn't want to know about marriage but wanted to ask. This show will be performed in Spanish. It will be a rare treat for Fernando's fans to get to see him perform in such an intimate environment, there will be a limited number of VIP seats for the public that will put you right in the center of the action and include a photo op with Mr. Arau.

About Teatro del Sol

Founded by Aurora Theatre Producing Artistic Director, Anthony P. Rodriguez, Teatro del Sol is a Spanish language theatre initiative whose goal is the preservation of Hispanic cultural heritage. For the past three years, Teatro del Sol has produced a professional theatrical production in April gaining international acclaim including multiple appearances on CNN Español. This April is no exception as Teatro del Sol presents the dramatic mystery Mariela in the Desert by Karen Zacarías. As a first generation American of Cuban decent, Mr. Rodriguez sees the need to serve this large local demographic as a fundamental passion.
