Aurora Theatre has been hosting the best local and national comedians since they opened their new location in 2007.Aurora Comedy Nights, hosted by bright young comedienne Katie Causey, welcomes the Short Bus Heroes on Friday and Saturday, August 16-17 at 7:15pm & 9:15pM. Short Bus Heroes Comedy Tour is a group of talented comedians with diverse styles and outlooks who have banded together their comedic powers for good rather than evil. Aurora Comedy Nights is introducing a new way for frequent laughers to enjoy live comedy in Gwinnett - ComedyTix is a punchcard with 6 flexible admissions that may be used at any Aurora Comedy Nights event for only $69.60, a savings of over $45.

Matt Mitchell got his start as the "Casio Kid" on the nationally syndicated Rick and Bubba radio show. After his reality TV show, The Fatchelor rocked the airwaves of the Turner South channel he put his radio career on hold and moved to Hollywood. Matt's big break came as an on-air correspondent for The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. He continued this rapid rise from small town class clown to mainstream comic on MTV, FOX, game shows and commercials. His comedy is a hit with all audiences. From life as small town boy to his experiences in the bright lights of the big city and all the awkward situations in between, Matt Mitchell keeps audiences engaged with his likable personality, quick wit and charming chubbiness.

Jamie Bendall is a name well-known in Atlanta comedy as co-owner of the legendary The Punchline Comedy Club. Jamie has been performing stand-up for the last 10 years but he is also a personal injury attorney, sometimes the jokes write themselves.

James "JB" Blackwell is a Dallas native and Atlanta-based comedian whose comedy travels have taken him all over the U.S. as well as a couple of places across the globe. Known for his conversational delivery, willingness to chime in on any subject and charisma on stage, JB's performances draw audiences into his world... a place where we say what we think, not what we're supposed to.

Kevin Mason's first performance was to a sold out audience at the The Punchline Comedy Club in Atlanta, Georgia and now he appears behind microphones all over the country. Kevin has shared the stage with comedians such as Jon Reep, Kathleen Madigan, Ian Bagg and Ron White. Kevin has won the laughter of fans and the respect of fellow comics. He was featured in the article "Star Power" by the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

Hostess Katie Causey is a member of multiple improv and sketch comedy groups in Athens and in Atlanta. She is a recent UGA grad and an alumnus of the very first Aurora Theatre Apprentice Company.
