August: Osage County Announces Recoupment Of Investment

 AUGUST: OSAGE COUNTY is proud to announce its recoupment from its initial $2,560,000 investment. It is the first new play of the 2007-2008 season to do so. Tickets are now on sale through Sunday, September 28th at the Music Box Theatre.

The recent recipient of multiple Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle, and Drama League award nominations, including Best Play, Best Director, Best Actress, Best Featured Actor, and Best Featured Actress, August: Osage County tells the explosively funny tale of the Weston clan, triggered by the recent disappearance of the family patriarch.
Directed by Anna D. Shapiro, August: Osage County has been called "The most exciting new American play Broadway has seen in years," (Charles Isherwood, The New York Times), and was voted #1 play of the year by Time, The Associated Press, Entertainment Weekly, and TimeOut New York.

The cast of the current Broadway production is Ian Barford, Deanna Dunagan, Kimberly Guerrero, Francis Guinan, Brian Kerwin, Michael McGuire, Mariann Mayberry, Amy Morton, Sally Murphy, Jeff Perry, Molly Ranson, Rondi Reed, and Troy West.
 
The designers are Todd Rosenthal (sets), Ana Kuzmanic (costumes), Ann Wrightson (lights), Richard Woodbury (sound) and David Singer (original music).
