Atlantic Theater & Potomac Theatre Project to Present GATED as Part of 'After Dark' Series, 8/1

THE POTOMAC THEATRE PROJECT has announced the cast for their third reading in the After Dark Series, "GATED" by Lukas Kanter at Atlantic Stage 2 at The Atlantic Theater (330 West 16th Street, between 8th and 9th Avenues) on Friday,August 1 at 10:30 PM. Christine Hope (Into the Woods, Stage 23 Theatre Company), Cole Cuomo (City of Angels, USC), Michael Kushner (On the Town,Barrington Stage Company), Martina Bonolis (Lovesong of the Electric Bear, PTP), Elianna Kan, Ollie Corchado, and Jenny Hoofnagle (Don Carlos, Houston Grand Opera) will join the cast of the reading.

Set amidst the chaotic aftermath of the 2008 financial crisis, Gated tells the story of Kate Bennett, a vibrant, somewhat addled, sangria-siphoning housewife and mother living in the master-planned suburban community of Mission Abismo, Arizona. When the housing bubble bursts all over her family's finances, Kate is forced to confront a lifetime of bad investments and questionable relationships as she takes matters into her extremely manicured hands.
