'At This Performance' Salutes Standbys/Understudies May 1-2

Musicals Tonight continues its ongoing salute to Broadway's Standbys and Understudies with its current editions of At This Performance…to be held on Sunday, May 1st and Monday, May 2nd at the 45th Street Theatre, 354 West 45th Street at 8 PM.

Hosted by Casting Director Stephen DeAngelis, the popular series allows performers to display their versatility and share anecdotes about their experiences. Musical Director/ Accompanist for May 1st will be Danny Purcefull. Musical Director/ Accompanist for May 2nd will be Eugene Gwozdz.

Scheduled for Sunday, May 1st are Joe Cassidy (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels), Paul Castree (All Shook Up), Laura Marie Duncan (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels), Laura Griffith (The Light in the Piazza), Chris Gunn (Little Women), Jennifer Hughes (The Light in the Piazza), Michelle Kittrell (All Shook Up), Karen Murphy (All Shook Up), Andrew Rannels (Hairspray), Allison Spratt (Good Vibrations), Marty Thomas (Wicked) and Shelley Thomas (Brooklyn).

Scheduled for Monday, May 2nd are Julie Barnes (Chitty Chitty Bang Bang), Jennifer Barnhart (Avenue Q), John Brady (The Lion King), David Burnham (The Light in the Piazza), Becky Gulsvig (Hairspray), Carla J.
