Transitory Space, a new collection of photography by Leah Oates, is an ongoing series focusing on abandoned spaces that have been overlooked, but well worn by human existence. This exhibition highlights the artist's travels to Beijing, Newfoundland, and New York's own Van Cortlandt and Pelham Bay parks. Despite their forced modernization and the subsequent refuse, Oates is able to capture nature's cohabitation with its synthetic neighbors to form a disquieting beauty.
