Ars Nova has announced an additional and final extension of performances for the critically-acclaimed world premiere production Jacuzzi, a new play by Ars Nova's Company-in-Residence The Debate Society, written by Hannah Bos and Paul Thureen and directed by Obie Award-winner Oliver Butler. Originally set to play a limited Off-Broadway run through November 1, Jacuzzi recently extended through November 8. Due to high demand, the show has added an additional week of performances and will now play its final performance on Saturday, November 15 at Ars Nova (511 West 54th Street). Previews began September 30, with Official Opening Night on October 13.

Jacuzzi features Drama Desk Award-winner Hannah Bos as Helene, Tony Award-nominee Peter Friedman as Robert, The Help's Chris Lowell as Bo and Obie Award-winner Paul Thureen as Erik.
The creative team for Jacuzzi includes scenic design by Laura Jellinek, costume design by Jessica Ford, lighting design by Bradley King, sound design by M.L. Dogg and prop design by Noah Mease.
The Debate Society, comprised of long-time collaborators Hannah Bos, Oliver Butler and Paul Thureen, has been Ars Nova's Company-in-Residence since 2012 and received a commission as well as ongoing developmental support to create Jacuzzi.
This world premiere is part of acclaimed development hub and new work producer Ars Nova's 2014 season. This Fall, Ars Nova also presents By The Water, a new play by Sharyn Rothstein, directed by Hal Brooks. Produced in association with Manhattan Theatre Club, By The Water was commissioned by The Writer's Room, a unique development partnership between MTC and Ars Nova. When previews begin November 4 at MTC's Studio at Stage II, Ars Nova will be represented Off-Broadway with two simultaneous productions, a first in the company's decade-long history.
