Ars Nova (Jason Eagan, Artistic Director; Jeremy Blocker, Managing Director) announces its February lineup featuring exciting new comedy, music and theater programming, all part of its continuing 10th Anniversary Season.

Coming up in February:

Showgasm. (Thursday, 2/14; $5)
Valentine's Day Edition!
What is Showgasm, you ask? It's a retweet from your celebrity crush, furtive glances across a church camp dining hall, the OkCupid headquarters in flames. Or more simply put, a raucous variety show with performances ranging from hilarious to titillating to utterly inappropriate. Come. You've never looked better!
Hosted by John Early. Featuring performances by Kristen Johnston, Murderfist, Jacqueline Novak, Spencer Novich, and additional performers to be announced.

UNCHARTED 2013: Kickoff Concert! (Tuesday, 2/19; $15)
Musical theater writing teams Julia Meinwald & Gordon Leary, Anna K. Jacobs & Michael R. Jackson, Charles Vincent Burwell & James D. Sasser, and Shaina Taub come together for one insanely awesome night of music from their songbooks, sung by some of the theater world's finest. Join Ars Nova in welcoming the founding members of the 2013 Uncharted group through this celebratory kickoff concert!
Featuring performances by Zak Resnick, Courtney Wolfson. Shaina Taub, Jenny Stafford, Ally Bonino, Amy Linden, Elizabeth Carbonell, Krystina Alabado, Margo Seibert, Lauren Pritchard, Jacob Colin Cohen, Mike Brun, Jo Lampert, Kate Ferber, Grace McLean and Anjali Gudi

Prairie Empire (Friday, 2/22; $10)
with Special Guests Doug Keith and Jphono1
Musical marvels Prairie Empire (fronted by Brittain Ashford of Ars Nova's Natasha, Pierre and The Great Comet of 1812), Doug Keith and Jphono1 unite at the Nova to bring you the very best new music has to offer. Featuring rich, immersive instrumentation rooted in traditional folk and warm, Americana sounds.

You Like Me: An Evening of Classic Acceptance Speeches (Saturday, 2/23, $15)

What better way to spend Oscar Eve than with this batch of crazy funny folks as they reinterpret classic speeches from award-show history, from Meryl Streep to Mariah Carey. No celebrity is safe in this merciless send-up of self-congratulation!

Lisa McQuade Sings Matthew Doers (Monday, 2/25, $10)
Performed by powerhouse singer Lisa McQuade, this night of old school, redux, original jams by Matthew Doers is reminiscent of the soulful sounds of the decadent 60's and 70's. Inspired by iconic vocalists ranging from Etta James to Donna Summer, Tina Turner and Aretha Franklin, this classic soundscape of gospel, funk, soul and disco is sure to raise the roof!

On This Island: Episode #5 (Tuesday, 2/26, $10)
Join us for episode 5 of Slant Theatre Project's live-theatrical podcast - a night of New York City-inspired storytelling all locals are bound to love! Musicians, writers and theater makers unite to explore this grand city's many charms and mysteries - and remind you of what brought you to this island on The Edge of America in the first place.
