BroadwayWorld previously announced that Broadway star Arielle Jacobs, playing Nessarose in Wicked through the end of the month, would host a Twitter takeover during yesterday's matinee on @BroadwayWorld! Live from the Gershwin Theatre, Arielle spent the day tweeting photos, videos, and fun facts all about the Tony Award-winning musical.
Throughout the day, Arielle showed us how she puts on her makeup, how a thumb war is part of her daily routine, we said hey to Kara Lindsay as Glinda, Christine Dwyer as Elphaba, and Arielle even revealed that she'd love to play Eliza Hamilton in HAMILTON someday! Click here to see all the photos and videos from her takeover!
She also held a Q&A with fans that proved to be very insightful not only to her own life, but she also shared valuable life lessons. We learned from Arielle that she prefers the term "excited" over "nervous," gave great advice on embracing strength as a woman, shared how growing up with a theatre brother (ALADDIN'S Adam Jacobs) helped her grow in her performance talents, and much more!

@CdnBwayDreamer I think the only show my bro @AdamJacobsNYC and I could do TOGETHER, and not have to kiss, would be Evita. If he was Che.

@MeitalDaily My best tip for auditions- never say "I'm nervous". Always say you're "excited". It'll change your mindset from being paralyzed

@Aspiepower During long time offstage I am usually stretching or warming up/cooling down my voice, foam-rolling my back & legs, or reading ??

In response to a fan's question about Arielle's daily thumb war, she said,
@broadwayworld @Aspiepower @WICKED_Musical Well he often lets me win...but he does surprise me sometimes! #Thumbwrestling = a lost art form.
